Here is what I put into my turkey brine, please let me know if you can think of any changes to make it better:
1 Gallon Apple Cider
1/2 Gallon of Broth
3 - 4 Tablespoons of Rosemary
3 - 4 Tablespoons of Sage
3 - 4 Tablespoons of Lemon Thyme
2 Tablespoons of Peppercorns
2 bulbs of Garlic (coarsely chopped)
2 Oranges (cut in wedges)
2 Lemons (cut in wedges)
2 Onions (cut in wedges)
1 1/2 Cups of Kosher Salt
Mix together in the container that the turkey will brine in, and add water til it covers the turkey. Let the turkey brine for 24 hours and then bag cook afterwards.

Everytime I put this on for little Cecie, she gets really excited and starts to try to dance. It usually looks like a riverdance sort of thing where she lifts her feet and stomps them down as I hold her up like she is standing. It is very cute and a video might be forthcoming. I am pretty good looking, huh? I am concerned that the "Pirate Speed Metal" concept may be just a little too awesome! I know that there are a few Science Fiction and Fantasy Buffs on my F-List. So I thought that this link would be interesting to them: http://www.whereiwrite.org/index.ph Here is Dave Carroll, who after watching baggage handlers wreck his guitar and not getting United Airlines to fix it, wrote a song about it and made a video: Cecie and I were in the park listening to Duran Duran play a concert. She liked them too. Here is a cool talk by the principal researcher at nokia about human behavior in regards to what we carry around with us. One of the more useful parts of getting a gut is that now I always have a place for my drink. "You give me a waterboard, Dick Cheney and one hour and I will have him confess to the Sharon Tate murders..." (1) Logon to Facebook We went up to Copper Moon to trade baby cuddles for llama poo. While we were there we introduced Cecie to the Llamas. The llamas were very curious about her... Almost makes me want to work for Google... Cecie looks like an angel when she sleeps. I remember as a kid thinking that the intro to this show was full of awesome technology. Now it looks a little more dated, it is still fun to watch for nostalgia's sake.
